πŸ’›πŸ™ŒπŸ»Yes PleaseπŸ™ŒπŸ» πŸ’›

I’m so excited to share this post with you guys as I’ve found my new go to for fall eyeshadow palette 😍. The palette is called Yes Please by ColourPop and I’m totally smitten with the shades.

The palette retails for $16.00 and contains a mixture of 12 matte and shimmer shades that will make you feel like you are in the golden hour. Plus it’s the perfect dupe for the Sunset palette by Natasha Denona which is $129 😱.

Here is my swatch:

Ok guys I’m seriously shook! This palette has the most insane amount of pigment and all for $16 it is a total game changer. I cannot recommend this palette enough and to be fair I don’t normally like Colour Pop but this palette has completely won me over.

I think these shades will be so beautiful for the fall and winter season I can’t wait to try out a eye look with this palette πŸ’œ.

Magnitone-Blending BrushΒ

Recently Magnitone launched a vibra-sonic makeup blending brush which aims to flawlessly blend your makeup whilst stimulating your skin for a more natural look and a healthier finish.

The BlendUp glides over your skin with over 250 Vibra-Sonicβ„’ movements p/sec to give you the most natural and airbrushed effect. The brush retails at a hefty Β£70 but I was able to purchase this for just Β£20 as a special offer from Magnitone.

You can choose  to purchase the brush in either black or white and there are several different size brushes you can purchase for Β£20 each.

When I opened up the box I thought the brush looked very classy and it didn’t come feeling cheap either. I think the complimentary brush you get with the blender is a reasonable size but I personally would’ve preferred it to be a bit bigger but it’s so soft which is a bonus.

I was so excited to try the brush out but I’m afraid I was bitterly disappointed, I found the speed of the brush didn’t really do much when applying my foundation. Also, the brush didn’t seem to apply my foundation evenly and I had to keep using more foundation.

Overall I don’t think the brush is worth Β£70 I think it’s far too much money and I’m glad I only ended up paying Β£20. However I think the whole concept behind the blending brush is unique but personally it’s not for me. Maybe this brush would be better with powder based products and maybe if the brush was bigger too then it might have applied my foundation more evenly.

❀️ Palmers Skincare β€οΈ

Now the cold weather is drawing in it is so important to look after your skin! I normally find as soon as the weather gets colder my skin becomes so dry and my foundation never seems to apply nicely.

So I was super grateful to receive some lovely skincare goodies from Palmers.  I received the following:

  • Moisturising Day Cream RRP Β£7.99
  • Enzyme Mask RRP Β£5.49
  • Night Cream RRP Β£7.99

I don’t usually use a day cream but like I said earlier now the weather is colder I think it was about time I treated my skin!

I was so impressed with the Enzyme face mask as it really exfoliated my skin and my face immediately looked more bright and clear. After using the face mask I then applied the day cream and it smelt soooo LUSH πŸ˜πŸ™ŒπŸ»! The moisturising day cream didn’t leave my skin feeling oily and it really sunk in nicely. Also I’m totally sold on the night cream as I felt it gave my skin a lovely protective barrier over night and the next morning my skin felt so soft.

Since using the palmers skincare range for a while now I have noticed a huge difference in the overall appearance of my skin check out how clear and bright it looks now:

I think in order to get great results it’s important to use one skincare brand as all the products in this range really compliment each other. I think the price point is perfect. I’ve used more expensive brands and not even achieved the great results like I have with Palmers so this is literally my new favourite skincare brand!

Urban Decay- Troublemaker Event πŸ’œ

Last night I was fortunate enough to attend the Urban Decay Troublemaker event hosted by the lovely ladies at Debenhams in Norwich.

The main purpose of the event was to really get an insight in how the new mascara Troublemaker performed and to play around with some other products too.

A few weeks ago I actually won the new mascara in a competition from Feel Unique and I feel like after attending the event last night, it would only now be fitting to review this serious game changer πŸ˜πŸ‘ŒπŸΌ.

However the mascara retails for Β£19.50 which may seem a lot but it’s defiantly worth the splurge once you’ve seen this review ;)!

Can we just all start off by appreciating the epic packaging?! I love the whole holographic effect and I think the colours look super edgy together too!

When I saw the brush for Troublemaker I was literally shook! The brush is big and I’ve never seen a brush that combs and fans out you’re eyelashes giving the illusion of fuller lashes!

Check out my eyelashes after using Troublemaker:

What I loved about Troublemaker is that even with just one layer on you instantly get a beautiful fanned out false lash effect which is perfect if you’re in a rush. By applying more layers of the mascara you really get intense volume and you’ll notice that your eyelashes looks ten timers longer too!

I’ve seen some reviews about the mascara smudging but I can honestly say I haven’t had this problem and as you can see I’m wearing a lot of layers too πŸ˜‚.

Let me know in the comments below what you think and feel free to ask me any questions 😘.

Primark’s Master Eye PaletteπŸ‘€

I’m so excited to share my review of the Master Eye Palette by Primark, I’ve seen some amazing swatches online and I had to get my hands on the palette to see what all the hype was about 😊.

The palette retails at just Β£6 and inside there is a mix of  12 matte and shimmer shades.

I love the mix of the brown and burgundy shades as I think this palette will be perfect for the fall season.

Here is my swatch:

I feel like my photo of my swatches doesn’t do the palette great justice but I can promise that these shades are so pigmented, I’m seriously shook! The formula has a lovely creamy powder feel and I didn’t need to use any Primer to make it anymore pigmented.

Overall with this palette I really don’t think you can go wrong, the price point is fantastic and you really are getting great value for your money. Also, the quality of the eyeshadows are so good and I think this palette could be a real contender for the high end brands. I’m defiantly going to purchase more of Primark’s makeup as I’m so impressed so far.

πŸ’—Chocolate Rose Gold PaletteπŸ’—

For a while now I’ve been waiting for the release of the Chocolate Rose Gold palette from the I Heart Makeup range by Tam Beauty and finally it’s now out :). The palette retails for Β£8.99 which is super cheap and it’s been compared to Huda Beauty’s palette with the similar rose gold shades etc.

Overall I like the packaging as it’s pretty cool with the whole chocolate bar dipped in a rose gold chrome it’s so pretty πŸ˜πŸ‘ŒπŸΌ.

In the palette there are 16 shades that range from being a mix of shimmer, pressed glitter and matte shades 😍.

When I opened up the palette I thought the shades looked really cute and the shimmers shades were to die for πŸ˜πŸ’œ.

Here are my swatches:

First off I found the shimmer shades were more pigmented compared to the mattes and the one pressed glitter shade. The shade Luxe (the pressed glitter) was so hard to pick up on my finger swatch but just bare in mind that I should’ve used some kind of glue to pick up the glitter properly.

Overall I think for Β£8.99 the palette is a good bargain, most of the shades are fairly pigmented and the shimmer shades are so pretty 😍. However I don’t really see this as a dupe for Huda’s Rose Gold palette.

πŸ–€ Mink πŸ–€

Hey everyone sorry I’ve been quiet the last few days I’ve just been waiting for some bits and pieces to arrive. Also, keep your eyes peeled as on Monday I won the Feel Unqiue competition and I won over Β£100 worth of Urban Decay stuff which I’m so excited to get my hands on and show everyone :)!

Anyway yesterday my new lipkit from Kylie Cosmetics came, Mink is one of the three new shades from the September mattes.

Mink is a rich taupe brown and is the darkest shade out of the trio. Here is my swatch:

I really like Mink and I think it’ll be a really nice shade for the Fall/Winter season. Initially I really liked the shade Bubble but when I saw the lip swatch on the model compared to the arm swatch I felt it looked completely different. I think Bubble would look terrible against my complexion which is a shame because I do like my purple/lavender shades.

Last night kylie introduced five new shades as her October mattes and I’m totoally living for at least two of the shades. However I find the lip swatch looks different to Kylie’s swatches on her arm πŸ€”. What does everyone think to the new shades, comment below 😘.
